It is our immense pleasure to inform you that the University Library Learning Resource Centre, SDUAHER, Kolar, is organising a workshop on “Selection of Journals for Research Publications” on 24th January 2026, from 2.00 PM at Dr. B. C. Roy Seminar Hall, ULLRC, SDUAHER, for 2023-24 batch PG students, SDUMC. The main aim of this hands-on workshop is to familiarise on how to identify predatory Journals, features of Predatory and cloned journals. • Impact Factor (IF): A higher IF indicates greater citation potential. • SCImago Journal Rank (SJR): Measures journal influence beyond citations. • Indexing: Prefer journals indexed in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, MEDLINE, DOAJ, etc. • Journal Finder
