Value Added Courses Offered By The Academy

To bridge the gap between the regular curriculum, societal needs, and recent advancements Academy offers Value Added Courses (VAC) for various programs. Value-added courses help the students to develop their own skills in their chosen field of study.

The value-added courses offered by the Academy cover a wide variety of topics from research methodology, Medical ethics, environmental ethics, communication skills, scientific writing, and many more. There will be course coordinators for the VAC who are responsible for designing the objectives and monitor the process of implementation of the same for the students of the Academy.

The coordinating department must ensure the following (Prerequisites):

  1.  The minimum no of hours for any value added course should be 16 hours
  2. Brochure of the same to be prepared – which should include objectives, Target audience and course content and assessment.
  3.  Certificates have to be issued to all the participants who have completed the course(after assessment )
  4. The attendance of the student is mandatory for successful completion of the course.
  5. Name of the participants, term, and number of students enrolled for the course, number of students who successfully completed the course. (List to be enclosed in Excel Format).
