Dr.C.D.Dayanand M.Sc., Ph.D. in Biochemistry is a distinction Science Graduate from the prestigious Kalpataru Science College Tiptur affiliated to the Bangalore University, subsequently, obtained Post Graduation from Central College as the oldest college in the Nucleus of the Bangalore University and also obtained Doctor of Philosophy from Bangalore Medical College affiliated under Bangalore University. He has involved in the teaching and training of Health and Allied health programs for heterogeneous groups of students in the subject of Biochemistry. He has carried out substantial amount of Research in Pregnancy hypertension and Phyto-chemistry. He has authored more than fifty Research publications in Peer reviewed journals/ refereed journals. As recognized Ph.D. Guide, supervised several Doctoral students and Post graduate students in the Academy. He has got 3 decades of teaching experience in the Medical institution and is a Ph.D. adjudicator for several Universities.
He has nurtured the Allied Health sciences division in the campus since 2010 and contributed immensely to the growth and identity to the level of Faculty of studies in Allied health and Basic Sciences overarching currently Six departments comprising twenty two programs spread in to Graduate, post graduate and Ph.D. programs in the Academy.
He is thriving hard in line with the vision of the Academy to make Allied health and Basic Sciences for its more visibility in terms of Academic, Allied clinical services, training, research and extra-curricular activities under the able guidance and leadership of the Academy Chief and Officers. Facilitating to provide more allied Health care professionals to the country for Allied Health care services in various health care delivery systems
