Biography
Dr. C D Dayanand, Professor of Biochemistry and Head School of Allied Health Sciences, has assumed the position of Dean Faculty of Allied & Healthcare Professions for the Second time at the Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in Kolar, Karnataka, India. Dr. C D Dayanand has completed Degrees in Biochemistry (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) from Bangalore University. He began his career as a Tutor, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the Biochemistry at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College and at University. He has worked in the Academy at various capacities ranging from Professor of Biochemistry. He also has Administrative experience in Academics and Research as Chief Coordinator / Head School of Allied Health Sciences: 09.06.2011 to till date (15 years), Ph.D. Guide: 30.08.2011 to till date, Deputy Director of Ph.D. Programs till 01.02.2021, Dean Faculty of Allied Health and Basic Sciences 01.08.2021 to 31.05.2024 as Admission Director and Director for Center for Advanced Research and Excellence at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in Kolar.
