Dr. Shashidhar K, Associate Professor of Anatomy, has assumed the position as In-charge Controller of Examinations at the Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in Kolar, Karnataka, India. Dr. Shashidhar K is an Alumni of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar.
He joined MBBS in 2000 at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, graduated in 2006 and went on to complete his postgraduate studies in M.D. Anatomy at Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Kalaburagi, Karnataka in 2013. He began his career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy
at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College and has worked here since 11 years, currently designated as Associate Professor of Anatomy. Various positions held include Assistant Controller of Examinations, Deputy Coordinator, R&D and Deputy Controller of Examinations at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar.
He is involved in teaching Anatomy to students from various programmes such as MBBS, Allied health and Basic Sciences, BPT, CND, BSc Nursing and MSc CBMG among others.He served as Internal Examiner at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in Kolar and External Examiner for a number of universities both within and outside of the state. He has published 6 papers in reputed National medical journals. He is affiliated to the professional bodies as member to Karnataka Chapter of Anatomists (KCA), Anatomical society of India (ASI)and Society of Clinical Anatomists (SOCA). He is a member of the Animal Ethical Committee, SDUAHER, Kolar.
