The Department of Immuno Hematology and Blood Transfusion, SDUAHER, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE)” on 10th September 2026 at Dr. B.C. Roy Hall, AV Hall, Library Block, SDUAHER.

The session featured distinguished experts from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, who shared valuable insights into the principles, clinical applications, indications, decision-making, complications, contraindications, and monitoring of TPE.

The programme provided an enriching academic platform for faculty and students, with discussions on disease-specific applications including thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, Guillain-Barré syndrome, myasthenia gravis, and toxicological emergencies.
