Dr. Koushik Chidgal Gowda hails from Sullia in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka. He completed his schooling at St. Aloysius Institutions, Mangaluru, Karnataka. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Law (B.A.,LL.B.Hons) from JSS Law College, Mysuru, Karnataka, and obtained his Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) from SDM Law College, Mangaluru, Karnataka. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Law by the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Academic and Administrative Experience Dr. Koushik Chidgal Gowda has over 10 years of teaching experience in legal education and is presently serving as the Principal of the School of Law at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University), Kolar.
He has served as a faculty member at the following institutions: KVG Law College, Sullia Vivekananda Law College, Puttur CMR University, Bengaluru Patel Group of Institutions, Bengaluru Christ University, Bengaluru, Karnataka
He has actively contributed to curriculum development, faculty mentoring, academic planning, and the promotion of experiential learning through moot courts, legal aid clinics, seminars, and conferences.
