The Department of Pharmacology, SDUMC, SDUAHER, successfully conducted a Guest Lecture on National Pharmacology Day on 17th August 2026, commemorating the 144th Birth Anniversary of Sir Colonel Ram Nath Chopra, the Father of Indian Pharmacology.

The session featured Dr. Sowmya Chinnaiyan, Global Development Medical Director, AstraZeneca, who delivered an insightful lecture on “Aspiration to Application in Pharma: An MD Pharmacologist’s Career Charter.”
