The Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion, R.L. Jalappa Hospital and Research Centre, SDUMC, successfully conducted a Hemophilia Awareness Programme on 24th April 2026 in association with the Karnataka Hemophilia Society and INTAS Foundation, Bengaluru.

The programme focused on awareness of bleeding disorders, early diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care for haemophilia. The event featured expert sessions on clinical and laboratory diagnosis, management and recent advances in hemophilia, the INTAS Hemophilia Project, and patient awareness.
