The Department of Research & Development Cell and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, SDUAHER, successfully conducted a State Level CME on “Intellectual Property Rights – What Medical Fraternity Should Know” on 27th April 2026 at B.C. Roy Hall, SDUAHER.

The programme focused on the growing importance of Intellectual Property Rights in the medical field, covering IPR fundamentals, patentable medical technologies, IP commercialization, patent filing processes, copyrights, and case-based discussions.

The session provided valuable practical insights and knowledge to faculty, students, and healthcare professionals, promoting awareness of IPR and innovation in the medical fraternity.
