The Department of Obstetrics Gynaecology, SDUMC, SDUAHER, successfully conducted a Guest Lecture on “Pelvic Organ Prolapse: Anatomy to Advances in Management” on 5th May 2026 at the William Osler Physiology AV Hall, SDUMC.

The session was delivered by Dr. Prakash Kini, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Cloudnine Hospital, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and Professor of Eminence, SDUAHER.

The lecture covered pelvic floor anatomy, Fothergill’s Procedure, sling surgeries, uterine prolapse case series, and recent advances in management, providing valuable clinical insights and enriching academic learning.
