The Department of Pediatrics, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, SDUAHER, celebrated Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) Day 2026 on 15th May 2026 under the theme “Stillness is Strength.”

The programme was held at the Paediatric OP Block and highlighted the importance of skin-to-skin care in newborn health, particularly for preterm and low-birth-weight babies.

The event included an inauguration, role play demonstrations, and felicitation of participants, with active participation from nursing staff, postgraduate students, and faculty members.
