Youth empowerment workshop report - Breath, Balance, and Beyond: Transforming Lives at Kolar Medical College through YES+
Department of student welfare of SDUAHER had organized for 3 day extensive workshop from 11-11-2024 to 13-11-2024 along with Sri Ravishankar Guruji ART of living ashram . 180 first year MBBS students took part in this Youth empowerment workshop. Th event was inaugurated by Hon’ble registrar of Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher education and research Dr.Muninarayana C. He spoke how Yoga and meditation can transform life. This was followed by the event which was led by extremely talented trainers Vishal Merani, (ex-IIT-Delhi) and Hassan Tafti, (International Trainer).
The Art of Living Foundation successfully conducted a transformative “Youth Empowerment and Skills (YES+) workshop” at Kolar Medical College led by dynamic trainers Vishal Merani, (ex-IIT-Delhi) and Hassan Tafti, (International Trainer). Designed specifically for young adults, the workshop aimed to equip students with tools to handle stress, enhance focus, and unlock their full potential in academics and life.
The workshop was an immersive experience that integrated Sudarshan Kriya, Pranayams, Meditations, and Life Skills Training, fostering holistic growth and well-being. With the teachings of spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji as its foundation, the program created a vibrant, empowering atmosphere for Students.

The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive. Many reported feeling more focused, confident, and emotionally stable. A participant remarked, “The YES+ workshop has been life-changing. The Sudarshan Kriya and meditations have given me a sense of calm I’ve never felt before.”
The YES+ workshop at Kolar Medical College was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who participated. Thanks to the passionate efforts of trainers Vishal Merani and Hassan Tafti, the students experienced a profound shift in their mental and emotional well-being.
This event marks another step towards creating a generation of resilient, mindful, and compassionate individuals, aligned with the vision of the Art of Living Foundation and Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji.
