Ovei view: The Cultural Committee of SDUMC organized Live streaming of “Digital transformation of India” by Shri Nandan Nilekani

Attendance: The event was attended by the MBBS students, Postgraduates and Faculty of SDUMC. The auditorium setup, complete with comfortable seating and a high-quality projector, created an ideal setting for an engaging movie experience.

Program Highlights:

1. Welcome Address: The evening began with a warm welcome by a representative from the Cultural Committee with introduction of Nandan Nilekani, the Co-Founder and Chairman of Infosys Technologies Limited. He was the Founding Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in the rank of a Cabinet Minister from 2009-2014.

2. Live Screening - The Live streaming of “Digital transformation of India” by Shri Nandan Nilekani was played.

3. Discussion and Reflections: After the screening, the floor was opened for a brief discussion where students expressed the ideas discussed about digitalization of India were breath-taking.

Feedback and Reception: The response from students was overwhelmingly positive. Students appreciated the idea such educational live streaming.

Conclusion: the program was a great success. The Filmix, movie Club of Cultural Committee, looks forward to hosting more such events to support and encourage students throughout their time at SDUMC.
