The Department of Integrative Medicine, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research (SDUAHER), in collaboration with the RL Jalappa Institute of Oncology, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing, and the Research and Development Cell, SDUAHER, organized SAMATVAM 2025, a hybrid workshop held on 20th June 2025 to commemorate the 11th International Day of Yoga. Themed “Integrative Medicine: The Future of Healthcare”, the event aimed to highlight the growing relevance of integrative approaches in contemporary medical practice. The workshop was funded by the Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The program began with a basic introduction to Integrative Medicine delivered by Dr. Ashween Bilagi, Head of the Department of Integrative Medicine. The inaugural session commenced at 10:45 AM, featuring an invocation song and a welcome address by Dr. Arvind Natarajan, Dean, Faculty of Allied Healthcare Professionals, followed by opening remarks from Dr. DVLN Prasad, Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. Muninarayana C, Registrar, and Dr. Vengamma B, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SDUAHER. A heartfelt sharing of experiences by cancer survivors added an inspiring dimension to the proceedings.
