Sepsis, a life-threatening condition caused by a dysregulated response to infection, remains a significant
global health challenge, especially in critically ill patients. Despite advancements in medical science, sepsis
continues to be a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. The Department of Microbiology was pleased to
organize the Continuing Medical Education (CME) session titled “Unmasking Sepsis: From Early Clues
to Expert Care.”
