AWARENESS PROGRAMME | Year - 2025 2026 | 07 Nov, 2025
On 29th October 2025, the Department of Community Medicine, Sri Devaraj Urs
Medical College, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness and Thermal Screening Programme at the
Urban Health and Training Centre (UHTC), Kolar, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event aimed
to enhance community awareness on breast cancer prevention, early detection, and self-breast
examination. The programme was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Indira (Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cancer Care India), with support from Mr. Sathyanarayana and Mr.
Joshi (Med Tech Public Health) and the Ambujamma Health Care Forum.
