Pediatric ophthalmic conditions, including refractive errors, congenital cataracts, and retinopathy of prematurity, can profoundly affect a child’s vision, development, and quality of life. Globally, many children face delayed diagnosis and treatment due to limited access to specialized pediatric eye care, especially in underserved regions. Early detection and timely management are vital to prevent lifelong visual impairment and to support optimal learning and development. To address these challenges, we organized a CME to equip healthcare professionals and raise public awareness about the significance of vision screening, early referral, and the latest advancements in pediatric ophthalmology treatments and interventions.
