Department of Community Medicine, SDUMC organized the Zonal Level workshop on AI Driven Community Health on 13th September 2023. The event was inaugurated by Dr Prabhakar K, Principal, SDUMC, in the presence of Dr Prasannna Kamath BT (Chairperson), Head of the Department of Community Medicine, Dr Muninarayana (Professor and CoE), Dr Samudyatha UC (Organizing Secretary) and Dr Sunil BN (Joint Organizing Secretary) and other delegates. Dr Balu PS (Director, Centre for Digital Health, AI, Research and Training, BMC Chitradurga), Dr Shazia Anjum (WHO Consultant - NTEP), Mr Chandrashekar Natarajan (Director, engineering Philips Innovation Campus), Mr Bisuajaksha (Digital transformation lead, KHPT) and Dr Charitha Gangadharan (Clinical Research Scientist, Nirmai Health Analytrix) engaged the audience in interactive and hands-on experience of use of Artificial Intelligence in screening for TB, cardiovascular diseases and breast cancer.
