Objectives
- To instill and imbibe in the students the concept of Unity in diversity and enable them to develop the organizational skills.
- To organize and promote all intra and inter collegiate cultural events in the college.
- To plan and prepare the schedule of cultural events during the academic year and to encourage students to participate.
- To encourage and support the students to showcase their creativity and cast off their inhibitions.
- To bring forward out the hidden talents of the students in performing various cultural activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- The Cultural Committee is responsible for all intra and inter-collegiate cultural events in the College.
- To plan and schedule cultural events for the academic year. (Tentative dates to be included in the academic calendar of the institute.)
- To prepare budget for all cultural events and take necessary steps for its approval.
- The Convener of the committee shall conduct a meeting of the committee to discuss and delegate task
- The committee shall display on the Notice Board/Website information about festivals to be celebrate
- To prepare and maintain records of all cultural activities.
- Any other duties the Principal / Vice Principal may assign.
Composition of the Committee
The composition of the committee compromises one senior faculty member as a coordinator and other junior faculties as members
Two students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year with equal gender and those who are interested/participated in arts and cultural events as a Student Member.

Procedure to organize cultural events
- To prepare the Annual Budget for various cultural event
- To obtain formal permission from the Principal / College authorities to arrange program
- To decide the date, time and agenda of the program
- To inform members of staff and students about the event
- To arrange the venue and logistics (audio/video system, dais, podium etc).
- To invite the Chief Guest and other dignitaries
- To arrange mementos for guests and gifts/certificates for the participants
