In the year 2015 Government of India declared 26th November of every year as Constitution day or National
Law Day or Samvidhan day. The purpose is to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26th
November 1949. The job of preparing the draft of Indian Constitution was given to constitution drafting
committee Chairman Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar who is known as the father of Indian constitution and chief
architect. The Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. The document lays down the framework that
demarcates fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of Government institutions.
The National slogan of the Indian constitution is Sathya meva jayathe/truth always wins.
