Security management professional currently serving as Chief Security Officer at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, with nearly 18 years of experience in corporate security, physical security, and safety operations. My expertise spans across institutional, corporate, industrial, aviation, and hospitality sectors. I specialize in overseeing complex security operations, asset protection, and implementing robust safety protocols within complex environments, drawing on extensive previous leadership experience in the corporate security operations.
In my current role as CSO, I am responsible for:- Strengthening campus wide physical security and safety measures; Conducting comprehensive security asset reviews and risk assessments; Ensuring continuous operational readiness and a safe environment for students, staff, and faculty; and Driving strategic security initiatives aligned with the Academy's safety and operational continuity. My professional foundation, which includes an MBA in Health & Safety from the Norwich Institute and a Bachelor of Science from Calicut University, is complemented by my ongoing pursuit of ASIS International professional security certifications (including PSP, CPP, and PCI), enabling me to integrate industry leading best practices into everyday security and compliance strategies.
