Organized by the Department of Community Health Nursing, Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing – a constituent college of SDUAHER, Tamaka, Kolar In alignment with the global initiative to combat tobacco use, the Department of Community Health Nursing conducted a compelling awareness program at Bangalore North University, Mangasandra, Kolar, on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2025. The event included:
🎭 Mime performances highlighting the dangers of tobacco use
📽️ Theme-based presentations
🧠 Working and still model displays showing the harmful effects of tobacco on various organs
🖼️ Poster competitions with impactful messages
🏆 Outstanding posters and models were awarded for their creativity and educational value.
The program reached and benefited over 100 students from Bangalore North University. Together, we strive to raise awareness and promote a tobacco-free, healthier future.
