The Department of Psychiatry conducted a Guest Lecture on 26/06/2023 on the topic
“INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING”. The program
began at 11.30 am with Dr Vatsala GK, psychiatry postgraduate being the MC of the program. She
welcomed the gathering and gave a brief introduction of the program. Dr Prabhakar K, our
honourable principal stressed on the importance of spreading awareness about drug abuse and its
harmful effects. Dr Mohan Reddy M, the HoD of Psychiatry highlighted the recent drug abuse trends
followed by youngsters.
