Greetings from the Department of Psychiatry, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College. 

The Department of Psychiatry, SDUMC, is organizing an Awareness Programme on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ground Floor, Hospital Quadrangle, RLJH & RC.

The theme of the programme is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide.” The programme aims to promote awareness on suicide prevention, reduce stigma, encourage open and compassionate conversations, recognise warning signs, and emphasise the importance of timely support and care.

All are welcome to attend the programme.
