Animals are used to establish safety before the conduct of clinical trials in humans and for experiments in educational institutions.

To minimize the use of animals, scientists are exploring the alternatives to animal experiments.

On the occasion of National Pharmacology Day, Department of Pharmacology, SDUMC, has organized a guest lecture to provide an insight on alternatives to animal use in research and academia, on 17-08-2023, from 09:30 am to 11:00 am.
