Poster competition for students for the World Antimicrobial resistance awareness week (WAAW)
World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) is a global campaign that takes place annually from November 18–24 every year. The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and encourage best practices to prevent its spread. AMR can make infections harder to treat, increasing the risk of disease spread, severe illness, and death. This year, 2024, the theme is ‘Educate. Advocate. Act now’.
