Doctor provided awareness on healthy diet and importance of having a balance meal. They spoke on the foods that provide carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. It was an interactive session. We provided awareness on adequate amount of sleep, daily 7 to 8 hours, importance of daily yoga, exercise and meditation.  Also, brought in awareness about increased prevalence of anxiety and depression and the causes of the same, such as bullying, increased expectations, abandonment.  Also, the children were given advice on how to handle anxiety and depression through having gratitude, doing what they like colouring, drawing, painting, sports and other activities, also to practise daily 5 minutes of meditation, to have a good circle of friends and family members. To communicate to the family members the daily events and to maintain a cordial relationship. As the day was children’s day, we discussed on the importance of child health, rights and awareness. 

As world diabetes day was also observed on the same day, the foods which cause glucose spike and unhealthy food such as junk foods, pizza, burger, chips and others.

It was also world pickles day, the children were provided awareness on the health benefits of pickle And its importance to gut health when taken in moderation.
