A guest lecture on Ayurveda for one health on World Ayurveda Day
Ayurveda Day is celebrated annually in India on the day of Dhanvantari Jayanti (Dhanteras) to promote and celebrate Ayurveda. It was first observed on October 28, 2016, by the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India. Ayurveda is a holistic system of medicine that emphasizes the prevention and treatment of diseases through diet, lifestyle, and herbal remedies. It is based on the belief that the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and that health is achieved when all three are in balance. To commemorate the Dhanwantari [ayanti/ Ayurveda Day Department of Integrative Medicine had organized a guest lecture on
" Ayurveda for one Health", The program started with the Lamplighting with Veena Vandana & Welcome address by Dr. DVLN Prasad, Registrar, SDUAHER, Kolar. Followed by a Guest talk by Dr. Shubhashree, which ended with a vote of thanks
