You can avail services for speech and hearing issues at the department of Speech Pathology and Audiology, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research (SDUAHER), Tamaka, Kolar. The department is housed in the 4th floor of CARE building of the academy.
How long can I expect my child to attend speech therapy?
The duration of speech therapy and progress differs from child to child. It also depends on the type and severity of the disorder and he amount of home training given.
What are the facilities available at your centre?
The department of Speech Pathology and Audiology has state of the art infrastructure and facilities for the evaluation and management of communication disorders. We have specific test materials to evaluate and diagnose the severity of various speech and language disorders and subsequently provide speech-language therapy. Hearing aids are available at discounted price.
