Disasters and emergencies, whether natural or man-made, place immense psychological as well as physical burdens on communities. In such times, mental health services often remain under- recognized and under-utilized, despite being essential for recovery and resilience. Ensuring timely access to mental health care during catastrophes is not only about crisis intervention but also about safeguarding dignity, reducing long- term disability, and restoring hope. This CME brings together experts to address challenges, strategies, and innovative approaches to strengthen mental health response systems in emergencies, with the aim of building a more prepared and compassionate healthcare framework.
