Background / Introduction

The Student Council of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College organized an informative session on NEET PG preparation, methods of solving MCQs, and efficient study techniques. The session was conducted by Dr. Neha Taneja from PrepLadder, who was accompanied by Mr. Aishwary Pachauri and Mr. T. G. Suresh from the PrepLadder team. The esteemed guests were felicitated by Dr. Sarala, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, and Dr. Pradeep, Director of Student Welfare.

Dr. Neha Taneja began the session by addressing the daily struggles faced by MBBS students, sharing her personal undergraduate experiences and examination challenges. She connected her journey with the common difficulties students encounter, making the session highly relatable and engaging.

Following the introduction, Dr. Neha delivered a comprehensive lecture on an essential topic from Community Medicine—Vaccines and Cold Chains. She explained the definition of vaccines, the types of immunity they provide, their classifications, and their modes of administration. A detailed discussion on the National Immunization

Schedule was conducted, reinforcing students’ prior knowledge and ensuring long-term retention. Additionally, various methods of vaccine transportation were covered,

enhancing students’ understanding of logistical aspects in immunization programs.

The session proved to be highly beneficial, providing valuable insights into NEET PG preparation and core medical concepts. The informative and engaging teaching approach significantly impacted students, making PrepLadder a strong consideration for their future NEET PG preparation.
