Nutrition Clinic

• Our students have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the R.L. Jalappa Hospital and Research Centre, a prestigious constituent institution of SDUAHER. This exposure enables students to acquire practical expertise in clinical nutrition and dietetics by working directly with patients and healthcare professionals in a real-world hospital setting. The experience at the hospital ensures that students can apply their theoretical knowledge in clinical practice, learning how to develop and implement nutrition interventions tailored to various health conditions.

Enteral Feed Section

• The Enteral Feed Section, inaugurated on 18th November 2019, is a key facility designed to address the specialized nutritional needs of patients based on their disease conditions. It provides students with the opportunity to learn about nutritional support therapy through enteral feeding, a crucial aspect of patient care in hospitals. Students get hands-on training in planning, administering, and monitoring enteral feeds, ensuring optimal patient nutrition and recovery. These facilities enrich the educational experience, offering invaluable opportunities for students to learn and grow in the field of clinical nutrition and dietetics.
